Yes The Hives had themselves a great gig tonight in France and so did we last night in Örebro celebrating Millencolins 20th anniversary.

...and we're back!

Yes after Fridays radioshow in Dortmund The Hives have once again landed in Portugal. This time in Braga. So get ready Portuguese people for a night to remember. The black and white hurricane has hit town!

Thank you Portugal!!!

So it's right after 4 in the morning in Coimbra, Portugal and we have just walked off stage. We had a killer show and the Portugeese fans were all in from the very beginning.

One of the coolest things I must say with this show was the amount of capes in the audience. Yes you read it right - fuckin capes! Never before have The Hives seen so many people in capes down in the pit. Especially not pogoing people going absolutely nuts! It's student wear apparently, black suits and white shirts and black ties (the girls have black skirts), and we played some sort of big finals where they have a big university student party to celebrate the ones graduating and the ones starting school.

The whole damn town looks amazing with an old city centre and what looks like a big fortress atop a hill. And then the capes of course. They are everywhere! Feels a bit like playing at a Hogwarts graduation and everyone looks like they are majoring in magic. We all know who supplied some magic in Coimbra tonight though and Pelle called the part of Harry his and waved his magic wand all over the place. (It's funny because it's true!)

Tomorrow we fly home for a breather and then to Germany and back to Portugal end of next week. Festival season has started for sure and The Hives are bringing the big guns. So be there or be squarestupid!
