Goodnight Cleveland!

Hi fans! We are now a week into our full blown arena/smaller place tour of the american incontinent. We have played the following places and done the following things:

Detroit: Played a huge place opening for Maroon 5. Went swell. It has been a long time since we played to people who had never heard us. It is a good thing. Ben from the Dirtbombs came down and talked and "hung out" as they say over here.

Chicago: Our own show at the Metro. Must be the venue we have played the most times in the US. Great place and neighbourhood. I bought a bass guitar. It is black.

St Paul: Good show again. Vigilante was down on his sound so we bought some new amps. Nicholaus got a good old Fender and Vig got some fancy schmanzy thing that sounds great. Now we are unstoppable! We did not see Prince anywhere.

Rosemont: I dont remember much of this. Dont know why either. I am sure it was a good day.

Toronto, Canada: Had a fantastic show at the Phoenix! Sold out in seconds from what I can gather. The Hives maintain their grip on the canadians even after a long absence. Some girl stole my shoestrings during a sensitive moment and I finished the set shoeless. Totally undignified. We met up with our friends the Deadly Snakes and went to bars. Much fun.

Then we played a show at the arena which was also a big sucess. It takes the crowd a few songs but then they clap and scream and stand up just like you folks. We are breaking new ground here and it feels good.

Now Cleveland. Lights out!

Toronto own show

Oki doke dorks.

So we are back in Toronto for another show at the Phoenix Concert Center. I'm very anxious to give some canadians a proper pounding.

The show yesterday in Rosemont worked according to plan and The Hives move on to new territory.

See you down the road.

Arson
