Where: Big Day Out - Auckland, NZ

When: January 17th, 2014

Story:
Hello there,

I was at your Auckland Big Day Out show, and just wanted to say that I loved it and your set was insane! However I feel I need to get something off my chest;

Pelle stole my drink bottle.

Yes you heard me correctly - the drink bottle that was hard at work hydrating me at the front of the mosh pit, was rudely and unfairly taken from me.

I worked long and hard to make the few dollars that that drink bottle cost. To see it snatched from under me and then thrown to the ground after cheating on me and quenching Pelles thirst was heartbreaking.

I have now since broken up with the drink bottle - it no longer has a place in my heart. I had so many plans:

1. Fill up the bottle
2. Drink from bottle
3. Fill up bottle
4. Marriage
5. Have children
etc.

I have come to terms with my loss and I wish that bottle all the very best for its long and bright future.

I just wanted you to know what you had done.

Regards,
Still A. Huge-Fan

In all seriousness, you guys rock. Im in a band of my own (www.themoots.com) and I try and be as extravagant as possible - but as of yet I am no match for the incredible antics of The Hives.

By far my favourite song of the set was the electrifying "Tick Tick Boom", which was interrupted wonderfully by Pelles remarkable wit and crowd control (how on earth did he manage to get a mosh pit to sit down?)

I love the band, love the show, and Ive gotten a few of my friends hooked as well.

Thanks guys, keep at it, youre awesome!

Where: Toronto, Canada!

When: Summer 2013

Story:
Once upon a summer, I met Dr. Destruction and Nicholaus Arson on a driving range in Toronto. We hit some golf balls while chatting for an interview... Some of us hit more golf balls than others.

This is easily the most fun I have ever had while interviewing a rock band.

How about ping-pong next time?

Cheers from the Highlander,

MARIJO ME AND THE HIVES
It all started with The Hives Chile on facebook, Marijo was the manager and was thrilled with the arrival of you so much no doubt
to cross the mountains to come see the band of his dreams before his presence comfirmaran Pepsi Music in Argentina not thought 2 times and buy tickets for lollapalooza and the dome, every day we put them in touch
right through the hives chile, at times hesitate to come because it is difficult to come to a country blinded and alone, but that is where I appear in the story, I live here in Santiago de Chile and was lucky to see them in 2008, all the days we were sending
messages to keep in touch until I get the day of his show on 05/04/2013 dome and we met outside the theater the excitement was doubled to meet us and see our favorite band together, the show was wonderful, and we had one of the best moments
of our lives, we end up exhausted but happy, and even missing the lollapalooza day 06, we met early outside the Ritz, to see if we had the chance to meet and it was Chris who first appeared and graciously acceded to sign our records and
take a picture with him, then Matt, were so kind so close that we do not give more than emotion and happiness.
After Marijo show typical locations of James was the turn to go to Lollapalooza, and had incredible see them doubly is the dream of all fans, the concert was great but very short
Without much thought went back to the Ritz to wait and get a chance to see them all together was undoubtedly the happiest moment of our lives we chatted a bit and took photos was an unforgettable experience for both that to this day we are in touch
in spite of the distance and always say what The Hives join.

Where: Porto Alegre, Brazil

When: April 2nd, 2013

Story:
The first time I attended a Hives concert was in 2008, September 6th to be exact. It was in Sao Paulo, with my dear friend and fellow Hives fanatic (we do consider ourselves the biggest Hives fans in the world), Felipe Pacelli.

I think it is scientifically proven that there is no greater live band than The Hives. So I made a promise to myself that the next time Dr. Matt Destruction, Vigilante Carlstroem, Nicholaus Arson, Chris Dangerous and Howlin Pelle Almqvist came to Brazil, I had to be there too.

In April 1st 2013, in Porto Alegre, that day came. Unfortunately, my friend and I went to different concerts, he went to Lollapalooza in Sao Paulo. This time I went with my husband, Jonas, a new convert, but no less bigger fan. I do not know how they do it, but they get better every time. The crowd was so wild and also so responsible for it being a great show. I will never forget.

And last, but not least, the encounter! After travelling more than 3000 kilometers just to see them, I went to the airport to go home, Recife, and who do I bump into? The Hives! I dont even know what to say, except these guys are as amazing in person as they are at rockin our brains out.

The Hives are the greatest band alive. Anyone saying otherwise is fooling themselves. PRAISE THE LORDS!

Where: Rock Werchter, Belgium

When: 30/06/2011

Story:
2 months I've been waiting for this amazing concert! I wanted to come into your outfits. (top hat, smoking, white bow,...) A week before the concert, I asked my mom and grandmother to make this things for me. And the result was wonderful!

You guys, you were programmed to 17h30 on Main Stage.. So, I leave my home that day at 7h. I definitely wanted to be on time for your performance! And I was!

When Chris Dangerous starts the first song "Come on" with his drums, I got goose bumps! Your set was great! It really rocks Rock Werchter!

And Pelle, my hero, his speeches were fantastic! (and again, and again, and again,...) I love his statements!

In the middle of the set, just before Pelle wants to start another speech, I put up the sign that I had hold in my hands. I had written: Pelle, you're awesome! And yes, Pelle, you saw it! And immediately you told the crowd that everyone must see my sign and that everyone should think like me! The camera people from Werchter spotted me and I came on the big screens near the stage. I was going out of my mind at that moment! The first I thought in myself: You guys have seen me! A little boy from Belgium, a big fan, and Pelle saw it! Amazing!!

After that concert, I was the happiest person in the world! It's more than a half year ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday!

A week ago, I came on Belgian radio, Studio Brussels, and I told about this concert and my outfit I was wearing. The presenter was impressed! After the interview, I could choose a number. I choose for your classic: Hate to say I told you so! Why? Nicholaus Arson can play that riff so good!

Nowadays, I still have the sign at my room! That sign will always remember me of that wonderful performance that you have given!

Thanks to Rock Werchter that they asked you! But more thanks to you guys! The Hives forever!
