Story:
My wife and I decided to go to Broad Ripple early to grab something to eat and drink before the big show. As we turned into The Vogue parking lot, I told my wife "that is probably their tour bus" and then "Holy Crap... that's Nicholaus". I then parked the car and scambled to get my Black and White CD and a Sharpie together and ran over to him. I asked "can you sign this?" Nicholaus was listening to an MP3 player, but he must have heard because he replied "yeah sure". I then turned around and there was Pelle and Chris. I recognized Pelle and had him sign it, but Chris had shorter hair than when I saw him in Columbus, Ohio a a few months ago, so I did not recognize him or ask him to sign it. Hope he did not take offense.
We got to stand up front on the side that Nicholaus was playing next to the speaker; my ear just stopped ringing today. The show, of course was amazing!
As we were walking back to our car, the whole band was standing next to the back door surrouded by adoring fans. I yelled "The Hives are the greatest band in the world!" I am not sure who said it, but there was a heavy Swedish accent in the "Thank you" that replied.
Oh yeah I was lucky enough to get the playlist that was taped to the floor next to Nicholaus' mic....It will be framed.

Well... A long wait, It was pretty hard to get those tickets, no money, no nothing... but at the end we got them! Sara and I were really happy counting the days to the big night...

That day we got to the venue about half an hour before the concert, we were kinda sad because we couldn't get there before but we managed to get to the front and we had the best time ever!!! Personally I couldn't believe my eyes or my ears!!! There were The Hives!!! playing in front of us!!! It was nice also to hear Pelle speaking in spanish!!! and when he made clear They owned our country: "Welcome to Ciudad The Hives... Los estados uniudos The Hives" it wa awesomeeee!!!

we got the closest!!! we almost touch Pelle when he got down in front of the crowd!!!

At The end of the concert I wanted to stay and take a look around, admire for the last time the neon sign and the freakin' awesome dum set thaty Chris Dangerous plays... 2 secons and this guy came and handed in a piece of paper... he gave me the set list!!! I couldn't believe that... I'm gonna frame it!!!

It was soemthing I never thought that could happen, I mean, being able to listen to the best music live ever... 3 months later and we can't stop thinking about it...

I don't know what else to say, but that I hope that The guys come back soon and get to meet them, and maybe the pictures I post by then will be different :)

Note: Taking pictures with a cell phone is not reliable... I can get the pictures out of my cell phone, but Sara made a great art work by drawing the concert as we remember it... (no, we weren't drunk xD)

so, PLEASE!!! COME BACK TO MEXICO!!!
we love you!
los amamos!

Story:
Okay so I didn't *technically* meet the guys, but I got as close as I possibly could, baby!

My best friend, my brother, and went to go to the concert. When we got out of the car to take the train into Atlanta, I said, “Guys, we won’t need the umbrella! It looks like the rain will let up!” I was wrong…We walked four blocks from the train to Center Stage Atlanta where we waited outside in line for about 45 minutes to an hour.

Oh, yeah, and it poured. I was standing on the side of the road and this car went through this puddle and drenched me (in my glorious white shirt, of course).

During the concert, Pelle was talking to the crowd about the southern hospitality he and the band had been receiving. It got ridiculously quiet, so I yelled out, “I love you!!”
To which Pelle responded with, “Well, I love you *too*!”

It was by far the best moment of my life, man.

That is to say, until Pelle grabbed my hat from me during the show! In the veritable mosh pit going on below him, I had to hold my hat up in the air to keep in from falling off. Pelle had come dangerously close to me, so I held my arm out towards him to try to touch him. As I looked away for just a second, I felt my hat leave my hands. I thought I had dropped it—until I saw that Pelle was wearing it, baby!

My mouth was wide open. I couldn’t move, otherwise I would have gotten a picture of him in my hat. After a while, he tossed it back and winked at me. Needless to say, I’ve been wearing it ever since.

Since we had to be ushered out of the venue so quickly, that was as close as I could have gotten to the magnificent band. But, I did get to touch Pelle several times—including his upper leg. I got to feel up a rock star, baby.

I have been reliving that concert ever since! I left with a huge black eye from being nailed in the face from this drunk guy’s elbow. It’s my trophy from the best concert I have ever, ever, *ever* been to. The whole band blew me away.

So, I know that’s not *strictly* meeting them, but it was by far the most fun I have ever had & it involved interacting with those rock gods. The friend I went with was a concert virgin, so you guys made it an awesome night for her!

Come back to Atlanta soon!!

(I also snagged Vigilante Carlstroem's pick, which I carry around with me at all times.)

Well, we didn't really get to meet the band. However, the show here in Indy was fabulous!!! My husband and I were thrilled that the band chose to come here as there many other larger American cities they could have gone to. I hope everyone in Indy was nice to them and made them feel at home. I am a local artist and had made some art jewelry for the women in their lives but they were no where to be found after the show, so I guess I'll hang on to it until next time! Best! Donna
