Hooray for audiophiles, punk rockers and vinyl geeks everywhere and elsewhere! Your day has come.
In our continuing mission to keep Rock n' Roll alive and kicking, we only want to distribute the very best in auditory excellence. We’ve had the great Steve Marcussen over in LA re-master the 7” of Tarred and Feathered, that’s how much we care. We can't, shan't and won't give you an inferior product.
This all took slightly longer than expected, but as of Friday, copies have begun to appear in stores in Europe and Scandinavia (and in stores on 8/31 in the US of A). The 7" is also available in our merch stores & ready to ship NOW, so to those of you darlings who have pre-ordered - your packages are on the way! Copies with our very own signatures are also up for purchase if that’s what suits your fancy.

Howdy Hives Habitués!
As you and the rest of the world know, we're in the midst of a grand European festival tour. We want you to photograph us doing what we do best: playing Rock n' Roll in front of thousands of screaming fans. We then want you to upload these photos to Twitter via Twitpic so we can choose our favorites.
You should, ought and must:
1. Photograph us in the flesh playing Rock n' Roll before a live crowd - no zombies.
2. You have to be following @The_Hives to participate, so hop on!
3. Tweet the photo to @The_Hives with the hashtag #HivesPhotoContest or else we won't see it.
4. The photo MUST be yours - please don't send us newspaper clippings or the Mona Lisa.
5. You must tweet the photo between July 14th and August 30th to be eligible, but the photos can be taken from tours past.
6. You may enter as many times as gets you giddy, but with different photos.
7. If you're lucky enough to be chosen, you must be able to send us a good quality version so we can show it off - at least 2mb,
8. You'll let us keep the photos we choose for our very own, but we'll give you credit and a super special prize.
We will choose only TEN photos for our fan album, and those chosen will receive a Hives prize pack including a signed copy of the new Tarred and Feathered 7" as well as other surprises. Can't wait to see you capture our pretty selves on photofilm.
